Hi,
This week we'll be working on grammar and technical directions in Reading. We will be reading all sorts of informational texts and using the same reading strategies that we employ with short stories and poetry. Please read newspaper articles, textbook chapters, and other informational text this week at home to practice the reading strategies we are using in class.

In Georgia Studies, we'll start looking at World War One causes and how Georgia was influenced by these events. We will be practicing our reading strategies as we research and learn about how Georgia was involved in World War One.

Our spelling test and vocabulary test is on Thursday since there is no school on Friday or Monday. Please study!
